Hanami

31/03/2026 By Sophie V

Hanami is a Japanese tradition meaning ‘flower viewing’. This centuries old tradition welcomes Spring and celebrates the blooming Sakura Cherry blossom trees.

Like Hanami, Easter invites us to notice the beauty in new beginnings. Soft blossoms, longer days, pastel palettes, golden hour, rain showers and the abundance of spring bulbs emerging.

April’s Pink supermoon is named by northern Native Americans referring to a species of early blooming wildflower. The Pink Moon also has an important role in setting the dates for Easter and Passover.
