Land Scape

Modern Prairie landscape with natural swimming pool, wildflower meadows, productive gardens, playing greens, agricultural farmland and walled garden. Featured in Enki.

The landscape was designed to anchor off of the house with rivers of wildflower meadows, mown paths and pictorial planting schemes flowing down from it. They blend to a organic swimming pool, playing fields, an orchard, pasturable land and a walled garden. The walled garden is unconventionally set within towering mature Beech. The tradition of a parterre is subverted to follow an informal grid based on a finger print and a thumb print. Alongside the vast landscape, this garden cycles through the seasons with an abundance of flowering perennials. The medicinal portion is filled with scent. Far End hosts stables, a glass house, guest cottage, exterior showers with views and an outdoor kitchen.
